Today wireless technology has become so widespread that it's been attached to a number of devices not just the typical router, hub or speaker but also the keyboard. This technology is most ideal for people who might have limited space in their office area or bedroom.

With wireless technology, you know firsthand that you don't have to deal with messy wiring, which increases the level of flexibility you have with the component. If wireless keyboards are of interested to you, then there is a wealth of them for you to choose. However, there are a number of things that you should consider before you go out and part with your hard earned cash.

The first thing that you should consider when buying a wireless keyboard is its range. Different brands and models of wireless keyboards typically have their own range and power consumption rate. There are some wireless keyboards that are powerful enough to operate through a room wall, whereas others are only accessible in the same room of the desktop machine.

However of recent these keyboards have been having an interference problem across the board. If you set these keyboards up and use them in close proximity to your computer, then you most likely won't have any problems to deal with. However, it's been proven that the further away you position the keyboard from the desktop computer the higher the level of interference.

Consider the options in terms of the layout of the keys. While most keyboards are designed to the qwerty standard, there may be differences between each one. For example, the layout of the keys may be split into two sections for ergonomic reasons. If you are on the computer for the majority of your day, this style may help aid in the health of your wrists, which can become a huge problem if you injure yourself.

Once you decide on the style of keyboard that works for your needs, you can move forward in your search. The next thing to look for is the type of keys. Keys have the letters and number either printed or engraved on the surface.

By considering this major aspect before you go out and purchase one. You can be sure that you'll pick up the best possible keyboard for your budget.

After researching several wireless and Bluetooth keyboards, I have found that the Logitech K380 Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard and Logitech MX Keys Advanced Wireless Illuminated Keyboard are the best wireless keyboards for most people’s needs because they’re enjoyable to type on, versatile and comfortable.

1. Logitech K380 Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard

Logitech K380 is a multi-device Bluetooth keyboard with flow cross-computer control and easy-switch up to 3 devices. Compatible for Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Android, iPad, iPhone, Apple TV Compatible. This Bluetooth keyboard brings the comfort and convenience of desktop typing to your smartphone, tablet, and more.

This keyboard is beautiful. The keyboard itself comes in a plastic film to protect the keys from scratching or getting caught on anything. Two small batteries are already supplied, which was a nice surprise. The circular keys look very nice and aren’t a problem when typing.

They’re relatively quiet, so if you’re worried about the keyboard being too loud, I wouldn’t worry about it. The keys press down softly with a little bit of resistance, so it still feels like you’re pushing down a key, but it doesn’t take a lot of force, which is good for long-term typing. Mechanical keyboards can get a bit painful after a long while of typing.

The function keys at the top are super helpful. You have a home button, an app switch button, a menu/show or hide keyboard button, a back button, and song/volume control buttons. The functions of these buttons will differ depending on which device you are using. The app switching is seamless. Takes anywhere from 1-3 seconds to switch between devices, and Bluetooth connectivity was fast and easy.
